Saambou Holdings Limited

The company is the registered holding company of Saambou Bank Ltd "under curatorship" (Saambou Bank), which provides until the date of curatorship, in conjuction with the other subsidiaries of Saambou Holdings Ltd, a comprehensive range of financial products and services countrywide through a network of branches, agencies and automatic teller machines. Due to the curatorship of Saambou Bank, the Saambou Holdings Group was restructured resulting in the investments in National Insurers Ltd (Natsure) & Saambou Life Assurers Ltd remaining. Saambou Life was sold on 1 April 2002 leaving Saambou Holdings with Natsure as the only remaining investment. 11 February 2002 - Listing Suspended on the JSE.
