Mondi is an integrated paper and packaging group with sales of EUR5.75 billion in 2006. Its key operations and interests are in Western Europe, emerging Europe and South Africa. The group is principally involved in the manufacture of packaging paper, converted packaging products (including corrugated packaging, bags and flexible packaging) and office paper. In addition, it has merchant operations which focus on Austria and emerging Europe and newsprint operations in South Africa, the UK and Russia.
